The History of Mountain bike Race

Mountain bike which known popularly MTB, specially designed to perform as sports bicycle or in cycle racing, , the race started in USA , held at Fairfax in Marin country, in the year 1976. In the early 1930, to deliver newspaper in USA , the first downhill MTB mountain bike racers used it which design based on 26 inch ballon tyre type, drum brakes

Many hippies in 1960, used these heavy framed bicycle with ballon tyre to race into the forest trail. These bicycle with heavily modified with frames which is known as Clunkers or Klunkerz.
